Born in Kibbutz Gaaton, 1960. His father immigrated
to Israel from Czechoslovakia, his mother from Yugoslavia. Has worked with
jewelry from the age of 11. Started his jewelry company Poran Gaaton, in 1989.
Makes gold and silver jewelry and watches. Major influences on his work are
Art Nouveau and under-water life.
